System Check Page

To ensure your system can run our programs, we advise going through the System Check Page to ensure everything is compatible.

Accessing System Check Page

The System Check Page can be accessed from the link below:

System Check Breakdown

Once on the System Check Page, you will see a checklist, as shown below:

Browser

Check to see if you are using a compatible browser. If you see an “X” next to browser, it may mean your browser is not compatible or not updated to the latest browser version. We recommend using the most recent version of Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge.

Internet Connection

This checks to see if your internet connection is fast enough to stream our programs. We recommend a broadband network connection with a minimum download speed of 10 Mbps, upload speed of 4 Mbps, and ping below 100ms. If you see an “X” next to Internet connection, it means your speeds are not fast enough to stream the program. You may need to reset your internet connection or try another network.

WebRTC

The Freestone® Viewer uses WebRTC for certain programs we offer; presenter webcams and audio-only webinars. For such programs we recommend using a device with a built-in or external microphone. If you see an “X” next to WebRTC, it means you may need to enable the microphone setting in your browser (see the audio troubleshooting article for assistance with this). Please note, this only needs to be checked for the above-mentioned programs, and for all other programs you can disregard this system check.

HTML5

The Freestone® Viewer uses HTML5 for audio and video components. If you see an “X” next to HTML5, it means you may be using an outdated browser. You will need to either update your browser or switch to another browser.

Test Audio/Video

You can test your audio and video by clicking the Test Audio/Video button below the system check information.
